The most recent is at the top. The new Church Year starts with Advent, on November 30th. Advent continues until Christmas on December 25th. As the Sundays after Pentecost continue (Some call this "ordinary time"), we have organized our photos by month: September Pictures on this line July & August Page click this line Pentecost concludes our celebration of the Easter Season and begins the summer season. Some people refer to the time after Pentecost as "Ordinary Time". Easter season takes us through eight weeks from Easter Sunday up until Pentecost. We celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord! Lent is the 40 day period of introspection repentence and renewal. It concludes with Holy Week as we remember the sacrifice that Jesus our Lord made for us, so that we may be forgiven. John 3:16 bible verse is the focus of study this year. Epiphany Day celebrates the Christ Child being revealed to the world by the visit from the wise men. This celebration is always 12 days after Christmas, January 6th. This link takes you to Epiphany Season. Christmas begins (for us) on Christmas Eve, and continues for 12 days.
