Upon this confirmation of the vows made for them at their Baptism, these
young people become adults in the eyes of the Church. The preparation
for this day takes almost two years. |

December 24, Christmas Eve
We celebrate the Birth of Christ in many ways. A
very rich tradition is the use of music in our worship. We were most
fortunate to have an "all star cast" arranged by our Director of Music,
Vernene Rodgers Lenz (shown left). |

row, light is an important part of our celebration, as Christ is called "The
Light of the World". We use candles. Above right, only candles provide our
light while we sing "Silent Night, Holy Night".
