The Cedmont Community Improvement Association.
Founded in 1973, our boundaries stretch from Belair Road East to the City-County
line, White Avenue North. Approximately 1,000 residences, consisting of
single family and duplex homes.
Currently 275 members strong, we have several committees that specialize in
certain community interests - from our Citizens on Patrol Group which insures
safety of our neighborhood to our Neighbor to Neighbor and Cleanup Committee
which aids our neighbors who are unable to maintain their own property. We
also maintain and clean our own streets and gutters of debris.

Epiphany Homemakers
According to the bylaws of this organization, the object of this club is to work
for the betterment of the home and family life. We cover a wide variety of
activities in which we participate. We have been blessed with good
officers and plenty of member support. We have about 30 members now.
On our regular meeting day, we start with a thought for the day and end holding
hands for our final prayer.
Crafts - We make about 50 lap robes each year for shut-ins or nursing home
residents and collect small needed items for those residents. We make
tray favors for several holidays, make draft items for Epiphany bazaars and
teach crafts to fellow club members.
Service - We head up and assist in making candy for the Christmas
Bazaar. We head up and assist in making Epiphany Easter Eggs as
well. We volunteer time at the church bazaars. We keep track
of sick members by our hotline and send cards or phone shut-ins, keep in touch
with former members, give members rides to meetings, save labels for Blind
School and can tabs for Ronald McDonald House. We donate to Epiphany
Fuel Fund and White Gift Service, Baltimore County Seniors in Need, Meals on
Wheels, Beans and Bread Soup Kitchen, Maryland School for the Blind and the
Salvation Army. We sponsor Charlee Mae Has Horns through the Christian
Childrens' Project.
Recreation - We meet and work on service projects and go out to lunch
together one day a month. We make homemade soup and bread twice a year
and invite the volunteers to lunch with us. Our Christmas Party is a big
undertaking. Members all bring a covered dish with scrumptious food, we
make favors and table decorations and exchange secret pal gifts.
Sometimes we have entertainment - singer and keyboard player last year.
The office staff and volunteers are always invited. Our June luncheon is
always at a restaurant, usually Williamsburg Inn. We have a delicious
meal and entertainment or games. Lots of fun. Bus trips - Have
been to Friendly Farms, Kenilworth Mall Train Display, Streetcar Museum,
Windows on Green Restaurant, Amish Market, odyssey Cruise on Potomac
River, 94th Aero Squadron - NASA, and the Baltimore Symphony Show House.
Education - Have speakers from health field, interesting hobbies, legal
issues, Baltimore Aquarium, food products, videos of trip vacations, home
security, Triple A and flower arranging.
Any member who has an interesting happening in their life, shares it with the
group and support is always there. We are a caring group of ladies and we
are recruiting new members. Our meeting is the first Wednesday of the
month and craft day the fourth - 10:30 AM. Come join us. You might
